Oh!
The lessons we learn from seed! Such joyful little givers! :D So willing to
fall into the furrow... spilling over each other in their eager plunge to fulfill their potential... even
if it takes a "little dying" along the way.
Really though... the dying
can't just be "little", can it? It has to be total.. a death to what HAS been and... what IS. This form of present existence must end: cloaked in it's crusty outer shell, and tossed about in its small paper packet. A death to the past must take place..in expectancy of the future , if small, seedy, dormant powerhouses ever hope to be transformed.
No..they just can't remain the way they are and where they are, if they ever hope to become fully... alive!
And.. who can ever stand in their way... once these small seeds determine to move forward? No one! This is a well documented fact.. for haven't we all learned this the hard way?!
Take weeds. They can't fool us! Fluffy and cheery yellow tho' some may appear, they can destroy a lawn in just two generations... :O Get them out early..quickly.. or reap your doom!
And weeds can transform a walkway overnight... from a neat, well controlled mosaic of stone, into a wild, willie-nillie jungle.. Be prepared: pack your machete!
Or... bending over to grasp and pull at an ugly offender, and underestimating their determination to succeed... just turn your head for an instant at a mockingbird's call, and the little opportunists have hitch-hiked the wind behind your back. They are off on the breeze... and no amount of struggle on your part will corral them now... Be warned: your agitating hand will only further the offense... It is now hopeless....sigh!
No..never turn your back on a weed, unless you are a thrill-seeker... unless you stalk danger! For you will find it!
Ah, yes... the lessons we learn from seed...
